“Stuffed Animals for Education”: buy a stuffed animal in Ikea and help disadvantaged children

One more year, and for the tenth time, Ikea has launched the solidarity campaign "Stuffed animals for education", through which for each stuffed animal to buy in stores around the world, a euro is donated to UNICEF and Save The Children to help disadvantaged children.

The donation will be made for the sale of stuffed animals, of which we can find more than 72 different models with prices ranging from 0.99 to 18.99 euros, or children's books sold between November 10 and January 11

This year's motto is 'The power of education'. And so much so that in the ten years of walking already they have donated more than 57 million euros They have financed 90 projects in 46 countries and benefited more than 10 million children.

The money goes to projects that both organizations have to improve the living conditions and education of children in developing countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

In addition to the donation of one euro for each sale, this year is launched Donate and round, an initiative of double donation, whereby customers can buy a stuffed animal or a book and donate it to local non-profit associations. There will be urns on the cash lines so whoever wants to donate them will deposit them there.

A good reason to make a solidarity Christmas gift, since in addition to cheering a child we will help others to receive a quality education.
