Australia will allow members of parliament to breastfeed or bottle feed their babies inside the enclosure

When Deputy Carolina Bescansa appeared in Congress with her baby in her arms, it was undoubtedly the story of the day. All kinds of criticism were unleashed and it was seen as something completely extraordinary, as also happened with other deputies from different parts of the world who took their babies to the congress.

It seems that in Australia things are taken more naturally, since the House of Representatives of that country has decided that allow members of parliament to breastfeed and bottle feed their babies inside the enclosure.

The outdated restriction of not allowing visitors to enter the Chamber was lifted to exclude babies and allow newborns who need the care of their mothers to have them at any time. That is, babies from now on will not be considered "visitors" but with an "annex" of their mothers' deputies.

Since 2003 the regulations that allowed the entry of babies who were breastfed by their mothers were already in force, but now it is extended to all babies who need care.

It really is an example to follow. Working mothers need support for a true reconciliation that allows them to naturally reconcile their working life with their maternal facet. Hopefully such measures would be extended in all countries, and not only for members of parliament.

It seems but no, no kidding. In Spain it would be unthinkable that something like this happened, at least a few years from now, and now that you just applaud how you deserve a piece of news like this, I clarify that The new standard will also apply to men who care for their babies. I don't have enough palms!
