Last month we presented a downloadable book on 'Diabetes in the pediatric age', and today we want to announce that the Center for the Innovation of Childhood Diabetes of the Sant Joan de Déu hospital offers a thematic portal to learn more about childhood diabetes.
It is a resource aimed at families of children and young people with type 1 diabetes, and was born to answer the questions raised by this disease. It is also intended to promote research, improve pediatric patient care and increase social awareness and dissemination around the disease. Diabetes Guide wants to offer information of interest around the disease, disseminate knowledge and be a practical tool that allows families improve diabetes management in your day to day.
The new portal includes Useful content in different fields: medical information, recommendations and health advice, technological and scientific advances, tools and utilities for life with the disease, also promotes the involvement of the most sensitive environments.
